Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Contact them today if you have debt problems

After years of stress and debt going nowhere due to interest payments eating up all of the money I was paying back, Stepchange has been life changing. They worked out a workable plan and contacted all of my creditors to arrange a freeze on interest. All my dealings with them have been supportive and friendly. I contacted StepChange debt management after I disclosed to my partner my financial situation. From the moment I contacted the charity I felt like a huge wait had been lifted from my shoulders. They were so supportive and contacted all my debt company’s on my behalf. They put together a payment plan that I could afford. It’s been almost 6 years but in October this year I will be debt free.i can’t thank them enough, they do an amazing job. I couldn’t be where I am now without there help and support.
