About this product

You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Plenty of reasons to like Tembo

I've been a tembo user since I signed up as an android tester for their app. I've been steadily saving since then and I've loved seeing all the new features appear - the help articles alone were great but there's so much more alongside them now! I've never had an issue with the app or service and after my partner and I purchase our first home I'll be back to carry on building up my savings with tembo Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

Supported as a First Time Buyer

I signed up with Tembo as a first time buyer, looking for a service which was tailored for helping me to buy, and specifically wanting to do this outside of my main Banking service, as of that the money was accessible, but away from my poor money-managing self. With the ability to set up automatic deposits, track amounts in other savings accounts, and then get a mortgage and principle and advice through one simple app, it has been fantastic in helping me to save and I hope to be in my own home, as a single owner first time buyer, in the next 6 months Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

Amazing interest rates with a lovely layout

It is a wonderful bank with a clear layout and great interest rates! I’ve recommended it to loads of people and got my cousin to join through the referral!! I switched to a LISA and Cash ISA

I switched to a LISA and Cash ISA and was very happy with how things were explained and the customer service offered. Security concerns over logging in were explained and addressed. The interest rates are excellent overall and not based on temporary bonuses, which takes the worry out of constantly looking to switch away. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026
