About this product

You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Great app, but still needs improvements

Great bank and always had leading rates but some of the app functionality still needs improving. I’ve flagged multiple times but it still hasn’t been fixed which is frustrating. However generally great app and would definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Good but always room for improvement

Great experience, simple products!

I started saving with Tembo as when I wanted to open a LISA they had the highest interest rate. Though they haven't maintained the highest interest rate, they are very transparent in communicating when and why rates are dropping. They also offer a variety of other services. We had a meeting with a mortgage advisor who was absolutely lovely and explained what products were available to us, and how we could increase our credit score. As young FTBers it was nice to hear from a third party that we were on the right tracks. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
