You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

I've been with Tembo for a few years and it's been great, the interest rate is really good. Their app is very friendly. It makes clear what my ISA limits are. It allows me to put in one-off payments which is what I like, but I don't enjoy that this means their "goal tracker" for a house deposit is always set to 99 years. As a Tembo LISA customer, I am really impressed by their customer service and dedication to providing value for money. The app is very clear on the government bonus received every month and the daily interest accrued daily (deposited monthly). I've become a frequent user of their forums designed for aspiring first-time buyers and this is particularly helpful in dealing with the Tembo team directly with any questions or feedback. I'm really looking forward to saving up enough for my first house and I intend on using their mortgage advice and services when it's time. Their market-leading interest rates are amazing and around the same level as the top-level rates, with the difference being negligible when you take into account the benefits from customer service. I enjoy interacting with the community of like-minded people that Tembo has created and will be staying with them for the long-term as long as this continues.
