Helena was absolutely fabulous, taking the time to understand my situation and guide me to the best deal. Even when the first property fell through she helped and then when I returned for the successful purchase she pulled up my previous information so quickly you wouldn't have thought it had been nearly a year. Big thumbs up for Tembo - thanks Matt and Jess

My first conversation with Matt was over a weekend during Christmas. Now that’s dedication. I’d been told a week before Christmas my first choice of lender had downgraded my affordability leaving me at risk of not being able to purchase my new home (it took 5 weeks to be told this). My income details weren’t quite standard but Matt was confident he could help. Within 48hrs I had a mortgage offer in place with a mainstream lender at a competitive interest rate. Jess was also amazing, she spent time on the phone with the lender explaining my circumstances and as a result I can now buy my new home. Grace and Callum smashed it out of the park.

Working with Grace and Callum has been an absolute delight. Thoughout the process Grace has supported me in taking seriously my situation as a first time buyer, including my situation with some light history with Adverse Credit. She appreciated my position and the level of concern i had given i was purchasing at modern auction and committing myself to £12,000 of fees from the auction date. Within a matter of days she turned around a mortgage agreement in principle that too my entire financial situation into account. Once the auction was won Callum handled everything with speed and helped me to understand the entire process. He contacted me almost daily and managed to get the lender to approve my mortgage within 7 working days which i consider impressive given it was a 12 working day lead time from the lender. If you're reading this, Thank you both Callum and Grace, you've supported me from a position of nervousness about the biggest financial decision of my life, through to being excited about getting the keys in the next few months and owning my first home! Proactive in dealing with anything that comes up. Excellent communications. Prompt responses. Pleasant to deal with, making the whole process smooth. Tembo are the best Mortgage Brokers on this planet.

Our initial contact was Paul Herbert, he worked very hard in finding us a Mortgage lender that would work with us. Once it was set up he passed it over to Jessica Eley who was very intentive.
