Dynamic Duo!

I reached out to Tembo based on their 5 star Trust Pilot reviews online and they did not disappoint. Every review online about Ruth and Jess they completed lived up to at every stage of the process. From my first initial appointment with Ruth I had everything explained to me in so much detail, and then I was passed to Jess who never let a day pass without an update. Highly recommend! As first time buyers, Rhys and Callum were fantastic — super responsive, explained everything clearly throughout the process, and made everything feel easy. We had an amazing experience with our mortgage advisors through Tembo. Both advisors (Glen Fulham & Callum Doherty) were incredibly helpful and generous with their time, especially Glen who we spoke to many times on the phone — they never made us feel rushed, and no question ever felt too small or silly. As first-time buyers, the process felt daunting at first, but they truly reassured us every step of the way with clear explanations and genuine support. They were super efficient, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We felt completely looked after from start to finish and couldn’t be more grateful for their patience, professionalism, and kindness. Best mortgage broker for self employed/complex income

Tembo has been my mortgage broker for my first apartment purchase. Having gone through 3 other brokers in order to find the best deal, given my complex income situation as a self employed musician, the service I got from Tembo was quite incredible really. Kane was my broker and genuinely couldn't had done any more for me. He secured a mortgage for me that I never thought was possible - I was literally told by other brokers previously that such a deal was impossible in my circumstance. He went the extra mile in every aspect. Callum was my supervisor and was on hand and efficient with securing my mortgage and anything else I needed. If you're self employed, a first time buyer and need a broker, Tembo is absolutely the way to go. And a very fair price given the amount of work put in for my case. Fantastic service!

Ben and Amy at Tembo were great at helping me with my first mortgage! Everything was clearly explained to me including how different mortgages and options would look going forwards allowing me to make an educated choice on the option that was best for me. Star quality service

As first time buyers, we were uncertain of process etc. However Kane and Callum were great. They both went through the process explaining us everything we need. It sometimes felt like 24/7 service, as both were getting back to you any time of the day. We got really good offer and are happy with everything Tembo did for us. Reviewed on: 27th January 2026

Bethany was incredible from the beginning and very patient throughout the whole process. Always very kind and helpful with my multiple requests that lasted 2 months to finally get to a conclusion.
