I wanted to know if I could make a one off overpayme...

I wanted to know if I could make a one off overpayment on my mortgage, how to do it and how my monthly repayments would be affected. I spoke with Aaron who was really pleasant and answered all of my questions without any fuss. Also, I didn’t have to wait in the phone for half an hour before something me answered, or do any “select 1 for…..” stuff. I rang the number and the phone was answered after a short message. Customer service is superb.

Staff are really helpful and do their professional best for the customer. The Family Building Society should be used as an excellent role model for other similar institutions and its personal service is the best. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

Fantastic customer service, I can honestly say probably the best I have ever experienced from your wonderful staff. I spoke with Serena yesterday who took her time with ne and went that extra mile to ensure I had all the information I needed and provided the support perfectly with my product switch. Quick helpful responses

Trying to buy your first home is really stressful. My parents are dying to help and this is the best building society for that! First off they are great with the age limit of the oldest applicant where other banks are very dismissive. Ed who I spoke with when trying to make my choices and see what would be viable came back with what would be possible and explained it clearly before I started handing over any application fees.
