Wholly unacceptable poor service

Since I now have to re-submit a verification code to access my existing account, that code should be provided within 24 hours. Relying on Royal Mail, whose service is currently very poor and unreliable, not to say insecure, is completely unacceptable. It's your responsibility to provide the new verification code. If you insist on doing that by hardcopy, then it's up to you to carry the cost of a courier service. Reviewed on: 11th August 2025

Dysfunctional service

My inquiry was about being shut out of my account because the FBS still hadn't supplied the verification code for my login. Telling me to login in order to get a secure message was beyond insulting! Reviewed on: 9th August 2025

Outstanding Service

I had an urgent need to for documents in order to complete an house purchase. I requested these online and received them within 12 hours. Family Building Society cares for its customers and I highly recommend them, They are a Family Building Society. Reviewed on: 9th August 2025

Superb and highly efficient service as always....

I spoke this afternoon with Lisa Adams in the F.B.S. Customer Services Team for assistance with my existing Cash-ISA account. Nothing was of any trouble to her, Lisa was very helpful, professional, efficient, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Reviewed on: 8th August 2025

Registering for our Account on-line.

Customer service

Lisa was very helpful in guiding me through the process of registering and connecting to my account. I understand that this all to do with upgrading the way customers access their accounts and will have been a one-off issue but it has been extraordinarily complicated and long winded, not easy for those who are lees tech-savvy. Very good experience.

I was told busy and would be delay but answered within a minute. Spoke to Ellissa Agodi who I found very easy to deal with and called me Mr which is unusual these days but nice. I understand security is vital but the questions took a long time and not sure how many people know their NI number off the top of their heads.
