"The Helpful Building Soc."

The FBS have been really helpful, both today on the phone with Lia but also the information they provide on their website for family's mortgages goes beyond what other Building Society's provide. Very helpful. Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

Savings transfer

easy to use instant access and currently good interest rate

The staff are really helpful and the online account is easy to use. You just need to check the interest rate (currently a whopping 5.1% and so ahead of the rest) and remember that you can only withdraw up to £25,000 a day (if you have more to save) - but for an instant access account it's unusual. Gillian Collard answered my query quickly and professionally and put my mind at rest that everything was OK

I couldn't access my online banking to check whether a large transfer had arrived safely. Gillian was able to explain what I had done wrong and assured me that all would be well which it is now. Incredibly efficient, understanding and friendly staff

I have an ongoing dispute with Tesco Bank about transferring my FBS ISA to them (only because of a higher interest rate). Tesco have been very unhelpful. Mia Tudor was patient and kind in understanding the issue, and went over and above to find out what was going on. Reviewed on: 11th September 2023
