Slow to pay out

Took ages to pay out, high % excess as well as fixed excess, went back and forward with the vets looking for any excuse to not reimburse for my legitimate claim Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Without sight of your policy, it’s difficult to respond, however, when completing the assessment of a claim, it’s necessary to determine the facts of the claim before we are able to make a decision. In terms of the excess, we do review these at each annual review, and notify you of any changes within your policy documents ahead of your renewal date. As pets get older, we do perceive an increased risk of claims, so at times we may change the excess requirement to reflect this. Pet insurance claim

I’ve used The Insurance Emporium for my pet insurance for a number of years. Sadly I lost my greyhound in July this year, part of my claim was paid out but not all of it. They have paid out on previous claims so I will still use and recommend. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Quick service

Have had two claims in the past few years. Both times the service provided was hassle free and the claims were settled quickly. Customer service has also always been great.
