Review of the The Insurance Emporium, Pet insurance:

OK but vet suspicious of company as they are slow payer

My three year old cat got run over and amongst other injuries had his jaw broken and had some vision problems. The local vet tried to patch him up, but realised it was too serious for them and reccomened that we have him seen by a specialist vet hospital. Luckily I had paid for a reasonably high level of annual cover ('Palladium Level' I think), as in the end, most of it got used up. On the plus side, The Insurance Emporium paid out for pretty much the whole amount I was claiming (they rejected one or two trivial things), and they paid me within a few weeks. On the minus side, the specialist said that since The Insurance Emporium was involved, they needed me to pay them up front, and claim back from The Insurance Emporium, as they said they had had problems getting prompt payment from them in the past. The bill was something like 4000 quid, so not something most people can just hand over and hope to be paid later, on the other hand, as I said, they did pay within a couple of weeks, and they did pay almost all of it. Alfie’s operation

Earlier this year my dog needed an operation after contacting the Insurance Emporium every was done quickly with ease and no fuss. The whole procedure was completed between the vet and the Insurance Emporium. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2024

Great value for money, friendly on the phone .

I haven’t had to use them for a claim yet, but value for money is the cheapest I’ve found for my cats, when you ring to ask something or change something they are very friendly and I can understand them. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2024

Horse insurance

Both my horses are insured with The Insurance Emporium. I have had to make a claim for one of my horses. Whenever I have phoned, they have been incredibly helpful, they keep in touch and explained the whole claim process to me. Great communication and very helpful staff. Many thanks!!
