Good banking on the whole

Tide bank works well on the whole. easy to apply and decision made on account within a couple of minutes, cards through within few days. Automatic notification on credit/debits on your phone - all std stuff for the '20's. Had a issue where made several payments and they appeared to process via app but account balance remained same. Left it a while, came back and no transactions appeared to have been made, so i re paid the same transactions again and yet again no change in overall balance, even after a few mins. Spoke to support which took a while to get through and apparantly it can take 4hr for a transaction to register ... yet during this 4 hr window nowhere is there any proof that anything is processing - it may only happen occasionally but this needs improvement imo. I had now paid the same invoices twice and no recourse from tide other than speak to client to refund... Other than that really like the app/bank. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023
