No Support From Day One !

As advertised on MSE and Smart Money People I tried to open a Cash ISA with Trading 212 but ran into problems with my Transfer of funds. The support offered by Trading 212 was woefully inadequate. They stated that because I had downloaded the App earlier that I had made myself ineligible for the 5.07% bonus rate even though no identity checks or money was credited in. The chap simply disappeared from the Live Chat hence my Poor Service Rating. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2025

Our Cash ISA bonus rate campaign is available only to new clients who meet all eligibility requirements within the given timeframe. This includes being a UK resident, opening and verifying a new Cash ISA account via an eligible affiliate link, and making the first deposit within 10 days of registration. If any of these steps is missed during the campaign period, the account will not qualify. We’ve found your case regarding the TrueLayer issue, and if the troubleshooting steps don’t resolve it, a screen recording will help us investigate further. On a side note, we’re sorry to hear about your experience with our support - it’s far from what we aim for. We’re reviewing your interactions with our AI assistant and team to understand where we can do better. If there’s anything else we can do to turn this around, we’d love to hear from you - feel free to update your review with any feedback. Response date: 24th April 2025

Breaking free from working class with trading 212.

I first used this app in its very early days just to try out investing with the imaginary £50k, to see what return I could get. Little did I know 5 years later I would have generated that amount in REAL money on my ISA wrapper. The value for money is incredible and they have always been upfront about the fact that they make their profits in the leveraged accounts, so long term investors like me don't have to lose out in fees and commission.
