Refreshingly deep ethical values

I set up an account as I was concerned about the future and the business practices of the ethical bank I've been with for four decades. I didn't want to have all "my eggs in one basket". I'm impressed by Triodos. Not only do the ethics run deep and are carried through to their practices but it also seems very secure and easy to use. Reviewed on: 15th December 2019

Why aren't there more banks like this?

Ethical banking at its best

I choose to bank with Triodos because of their ethics. I like to know that my money is being invested in organisations that care about the environment and care about the people who work for them. It’s also important to me that the bank also cares about its people, doesn’t take risks with its customers money and doesn’t spend millions of pounds on directors’ bonuses. Ethical Banking

We have been a customer for a few years now and it delights me to know that our money is doing good things around the World and that I can have a clear conscience that it isn't being invested in things that I don't agree with. It gives me hope that there is an alternative that can help more people make ethical choices and help shape the World for the better, through sustainable investment. When we joined Triodos the product was new and there were some teething problems, concerning obtaining cash from service tills, for example, but all that is past and we have had no more issues since. The most important thing is our money is a force for good, which the 'usual' banks don't offer. May it's influence continue to grow and change their ways to help create a sustainable future for the natural world and the people and other creatures which inhabit it. Ethical Bank in every marker

I have been with Triodos for over 2 years and am mightily impressed by them. I had been waiting for them to bring out a current account for some time and it was definitely worth the wait. Amazing customer service, always very responsive and willing to go the extra mile. It's an absolute priority to know that my money is not invested in businesses/practices that harm the environment, human rights or animals and that focus is on responsible sustainable businesses and consumers. Rates are very reasonable. Debit card. Is made of leaf cellulose! I literally don't have anything bad to say about Triodos and highly recommend. Reviewed on: 15th December 2019
