Easy to use and ethical

This bank has great products (we hold a joint current account, a savings account, and my partner has an ISA) and all are easy to use, easy to move money between, and both the internet banking and the app are incredibly easy to use. Messages in the app and emails keep us informed of what's happening. Even though there is a monthly charge and the interest rates are lower than other banks, we are happy with this knowing that the bank is ethical and invests money in places we are comfortable with Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026

Very happy with my Triodos account.

Very happy with my Triodos account. It feels secure and is easy to use. Only minor downside is that many online payment processes don't recognise Triodos so you have to go through the "pay with card details" option rather than pay directly, but with autofill this is never an issue. Dependability and reliability with a good ethos.

I chose Triodos because of its ethical and environmental ethos. I have not had any reason to complain about the service and importantly, the online service has never faltered or failed to operate so that access to my accounts and the use of my debit card have been totally reliable.
