we choose Triodos because it is one of the very few - perhaps the only bank that places values above value. That is the core beliefs are focused on an ethical worldview rather than purely financial. To us that is incrediby important in a world in which not enough attention is given to what people, consumers and customers, really want. There should be more banks like Triodos and it is a huge shame that almost all other banks do not have the same view and the values that make Triodos unique. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

A bank with good ethics

I’ve got a current account with them and I have had it for a few years now because I like their ethics. The times I’ve needed to contact them their customer service has been good and their online app is easy to use. I just wish they did children’s accounts. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

I joined this bank especially because of the importance of ethical investment. The staff are always helpful, informative and cheerful on the phone. One drawback is that some places (eg the Post Office) won’t process a cash withdrawal from a Triodos card. Sometimes inconvenient. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026
