The ONLY bank to give your money to

I feel that in this day and edge you really should be informed and make an education decision as to who you bank with. Not by who’s got the best gimmicky offer going but by who invests your money wisely, sustainably and consciously. I really believe that you can change the world by who you bank with and I just wish more people banked with Triodos. Reviewed on: 10th January 2020

Good banking with added "feel-good" factor

I switched my current account to Triodos a few months ago after becoming aware that my money held with other banks may be helping to fund projects or industries that I don't agree with. By using Triodos not only can I be sure that my money isn't being used for disagreeable things but, instead, I know that it's actually being used to create a positive change and being used for good. I am very happy to pay the small and transparent monthly fee for this peace of mind. The banking itself seems very good. The switch-over was hassle-free and the banking app is easy to use and pretty comprehensive. I've had pretty swift answers to any questions that I've had along the way and have no complaints at all. Trustworthy, humane, decent

It is so heartening to entrust my money to an organisation which takes such a holistic approach to financial management and has at its heart a wish to use it to the benefit of others less fortunate as well as the environment and animal welfare rather than by exploiting the vulnerable and unfortunate in our society. Ethical Banking for the 21st Century

The only fully-ethical current account available in the UK, a registered b corp that only invests in local businesses that have a positive impact on society and the environment. Very helpful team on the phones and a clear internet banking interface. The bio-degradable debit card is another green star in their firmament. Reviewed on: 10th January 2020

Secure and ethical online banking

I was looking for a bank to set up a joint account for me and my wife. I switched to Triodos in an effort to move to a bank that I felt would best marry up with my move to a more sustainable lifestyle. The application was quick and easy, I get regular communication about the good work that is done with the money I invest. The online banking is slightly more complex than my previous bank as a result of the need for a digipass but it does make me feel that accessing my finances would be more tricky for someone with malicious intent and the mobile app works a treat to eliminate this added complexity. I was so pleased I have now opened a linked savings account and am considering taking out an ethical ISA through them as well. Reviewed on: 10th January 2020
