Banking with a clear conscience

I’ve banked with Barclays all my life so to switch to Triodos was huge but I very quickly got in the swing of the way Triodos does banking. I only struggled to remember how to manage direct debits and standing orders! I’m very happy with Triodos. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

The Best Decision of My Financial Life

I was appalled by other banks using my money toward horrible things like war and Mother Earth-destroying projects like oil, and I knew that I needed to make a stand where it counts in this world by switching to a bank that aligns with my values, where doing all I can to live an ethical life means switching to a better bank. Switching was the best decision of my financial life and I feel more empowered to keep using my money for good and make ethical purchases with my Triodos card. I joined Triodos because it's an ethical bank , one of the best there is, not just in hearsay , but in fact . So I know my money is not going to fossil fuels, armaments or any kind of unfair or unethical businesses.
