Ethical values

I invest with Triodos because of its ethical values. I want my money to be used to support charities and causes which benefit the environment and do not exploit people. I am confident that Triodos does this. The bank provides clear information and is always rated highly in external surveys of banks’ ethical commitments. Their online platform is easy to navigate and on the rare occasions when I have needed to phone them I have always found their customer service prompt and helpful. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

reciprocity

Saving with Triodos was something I aspired to since...

Saving with Triodos was something I aspired to since reading about them in Resurgence/Positive News over 30years ago. At that time they didn’t have a bank in England and I was a poor student. When it became possible for me to save money in an ISA I really felt a sense of achievement. It has given me no problems and great peace of mind. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

easy to use, ethical

Very easy to use the app (and/or to log into the website if necessary) to withdraw money, check balance or download statements. I've not needed to contact them in recent years as have had no issues - and I could find answers to questions I did have on their website. Extremely inspiring to read about their other customers/who they invest in. Really feels like they "put their[= our] money where their mouth is"] and are doing their best to be a positive influence in a troubled world. They give regular clear updates and advice by e-mail about the latest scams. And still seem to provide a rate of interest that's broadly comparable to other products on the market. Great communication and transparency

When researching the bank, information on what my money would be invested in was readily available and easy to find, which was a far cry from other ISA providers I looked at.
