ALL SYSTEMS DOWN - CAN'T ACCESS ANYTHING!

I am self-employed and have made the mistake of putting all my eggs in one basket; i.e. all business and domestic accounts are with TSB. They started a 'systems upgrade' Friday night, which has knocked out all internet banking. It is now Tuesday and still all in a mess. Can't see if DDs are being paid; can't make payments; can't do anything really and I haven't got an alternative account with another bank (schoolboy error). Can't get through to TSB: recorded message says "sorry our upgrade is taking A LITTLE LONGER than expected" and goes to engaged tone. A little longer?! All should have been back last Sunday! Bank account

Staff are really helpful in store and over telephone. Internet bank is really easy to use as well. Been a customer for a few years now, wont go anywhere else. Reviewed on: 13th April 2018

Easy peasy

This account is great! there’s no overdraft, they text you your balance if your low on funds and every Friday you get a text with balance and recent transactions. Also theyvtext if you go over drawn and can put money in before 2.30 without getting charged. Best bank I’ve had! Reviewed on: 13th April 2018

SO EASY

FOR ANYONE THAT LACKS ANY REAL COMPUTER SKILLS I FIND THEIR ONLINE BANKING SO SIMPLE. VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND. Reviewed on: 12th April 2018

Good but not much reward

I'm happy with my current account with TSB, but I do think loyal customers could be better rewarded or rewarded more often e.g. cashback/discounts. Reviewed on: 4th April 2018

Ridiculous bank with very poor problem solving

Went into Sunderland bank to let them know I was selling my house and a large amount of money would be coming into my bank account. I explained I would be in Spain and would be withdrawing large amounts of money. Notes were put on computer to make sure all would go smoothly. What a waste of time it's cost me 400 pounds because of late payments to other banks because what the tsb told me was incorrect and there is nothing they can do. Everyone I don't like will be recommended to the tsb can't think of a worse thing I could do to someone. Thanks for nothing hope you improve when you get taken over. What they should do is close you down. I know the tsb don't care about bad reviews however I feel much better letting people know how bad the tsb is. Reviewed on: 15th March 2018

Old-fashioned and inflexible systems

TSB portray themselves on TV as different from other banks. They are - their systems are worse. I switched to TSB over Christmas and I am regretting the move. Most banks will allow you to pay funds in on the day when standing orders go out. Simples! Not TSB. They will bounce your Standing order and charge you for the privilege. This lack of flexibility is very frustrating - and expensive. Can anyone recommend a bank that is actually any good? It surely can't be rocket science to get it right. Reviewed on: 2nd March 2018

I TRUST TSB

Excellent bank with 3% AER variable interest on balances up to £1,500. Plus get £10 cashback every month. I have been with this bank for years and would recommend it to all, especially young savers. Reviewed on: 11th February 2018
