Good account for interest and cashback

4
Pays 5% AER and £5 cashback for using contactless so for a day-to-day account it has some nice perks. Reviewed on: 22nd June 2016

My local branch work hard to provide the best service to me which includes the best account.

4
The local branch staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The personal touch makes all the difference! Reviewed on: 20th June 2016

Rewarding

5
Easiest and quickest current account application I have ever experienced. 5% on 2000 pounds for very little effort. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

GOOD

5
Opened this because of the in credit interest of 5% and the bonus of another 5% on contactless payments. Have had no problems at all. Rarely use the bank but when I need to the staff are friendly and helpful Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Hit and Miss

Switched to TSB from Halifax, process was straightforward but since joining there have been a number pf problems, including incorrect interest rates applied to accounts, conflicting information from customer service representatives and lots of sign in errors experiences with mobile banking app. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

GOOD INTEREST

4
Cant beat their 5% interest rate on credit balance and another 5% on contactless payments. Dont find the staff to be as helpful and professional as other companies but I dont visit that often so is not really a problem Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Simple to set up and 5 % interest

5
This is a great account that was easy to set up online - it offers 5% interest as long as you pay in £500 a month and this doesn't have to include your salary. You don't need to set up any bills with it so you can keep your other current accounts for this if you prefer. The staff were friendly and helpful when I phoned up for help whilst trying to set up a standing order and overall I have had a very good experience with them so far. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Easy signup, everything works, good interest

5
Heard TSB are offering 5% interest on first £5k in account, provided you pay in £500 a month. Signup was all online, as easy as any bank signup could be, really. Only glitch I think was finding out how to opt for paperless billing (you do that at first sign-in after opening the account). All paperwork and cards arrived promptly. Barely used the account so far but the signup was painless. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Not satisfied

I had an appointment in Cheltenham branch TSB to apply for a current plus account. I didn't approve satisfactory for a member of staff litterally investigating where I work, three different types of identity, which i presented, my address proofs of water bill, tenancy agreement, insurance letter and bank statements which i presented also haven't passed her expectations. I felt humiliated at that point. I was advised to request a statement from my current bank to issue me a statement with my address on. Also had a comment why I don't have an english driving licence? I said to her that I will never be back! Reviewed on: 12th March 2016

Terrible account

2
i had had a missed call from the bank with a voicemail regarding needing me to attend an account review. I ignored this and went about my business as usual. I was in the bank paying in a cheque when the cashier told me I needed to attend an account review and asked if I would stay for that at that time, I explained I could not as I had to collect my son from nursery. She then hassled me more to give a date of when I could attend because apparently my account was no longer available and I was going to have to change my account. I told her I would call the other branch in my town and make my appointment. I did this and instead of asking for a review I told them I wanted to close the account that was a packaged account and change it to an account with no monthly fee. I explained I did this because I was being bullied into making an appointment and the cashier told me my account was no longer available which I was now told this was not true and did I want to change my mind and keep my account however by this point I didn't want to keep paying for an account to them when their service and staff would treat me that way Reviewed on: 19th February 2016
