A good choice.

UTB have a good range of savings products and offer competitive rates. I have always found their customer service to be easily contacted and very helpful. Their recent revamp of their online banking portal is a welcome improvement to my overall customer experience. Reviewed on: 18th February 2025

Transferring an existing ISA to UTB - so easy

I already had a 3-year fixed rate ISA with United Trust Bank and one of my other Fixed Rate ISAs with another provider was maturing. UTB offered a great rate and they made the process of transferring that 'old' ISA to UTB so simple and easy. I would have no doubts in recommending them to other people. I cannot praise them enough.

I cannot praise them enough. I called today in fact to check on the changes to ISA arrangements for the new tax year. Call was answered in less than 30 seconds, I was given immediate, precise and clear guidance on my options for multiple accounts from this April. Staff member friendly, knowledgeable and she was immediately able to help. Calls are always answered from company staff in this country, with no need for being placed on hold. I already have 3 bonds with them at present, it would be difficult to beat them on interest rate. Reviewed on: 19th March 2024
