Good Card

Appalling!

Appalling!! Take advantage of people with a debt history with some dubious practices and an increased interest rate. Several years ago forced to refund their ROP scheme and since then have removed ability to pay via online banking (you have to log in to pay). This can take several days to clear and gives them the window of opportunity to raise over the limit fees. I just transferred some money to my partner and it took 15 seconds! This is the 21st century. What are they not complying? Also the way they present their online statements is not clear. You have no idea what interest is being applied or when. I am at my credit limit but get a text to say I am over my limit and need to send £2. What is this for? Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024

Overall really good choice for credit

I feel like Vanquis are very fair in when to increase credit limits, ensuring you are in a good financial situation before giving you an increase. Customer service is always there if there’s any concerns as well. APR can be a bit high but overall using this card has seriously helped my credit score Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024
