Fantastic card to get you back on track!

I got my Vanquis card following financial problems caused by I’ll health. Now on benefits, I find unexpected and expensive problems are hard to deal with, but my card gets me out of trouble every time; it’s such a relief to have it as a back up for emergencies. And as long as you keep up your regular payments, they’ll help me out if they can. I’m on benefits bit have still improved my credit rating by having the card, it’s a win win all the time. The interest is a little higher than some other cards, but I thinks that’s acceptable, as Vanquis are taking a risk giving me credit when I have no job/regular wage. Plus the other cards with lower interest rates would never approve a card for me. Reviewed on: 16th July 2025
