Vanquis offer 0% for purchases and balance transfers for a set period of time. You will be charged a fee for any balance transfers. When the offer period on the card ends, any outstanding balance will be charged at a standard variable interest rate.

Very high interest rates

I picked this card a while back (I no longer have it) to help rebuild my credit. As a student the urge to use it to spend was very high. As I kept up with my payments they increased my limit and I used it. They don't allow you to make extra payments it's minimum or all of the balance needless to say I had to Take a loan to pay it off, as over three years I'd literally paid enough in to pay the Balance off however it all went on interest and the balance never came down. Worked for my credit

Building credit

If you use Vanquis, great way to build up your credit rating, just pay it in full every month, don't do minimum. Reviewed on: 15th December 2016

It's OK

Mistake

High interest rate
