Don't always believe

Money tooken for house valuation and it is our fault that we didn't wait for the answer first. But customer advisor was saying "no need to woried all should be okay, all looks good". Declined because of that there is gaps for last 4 years working (it is not true). Money for deposit are from student finance (Not true as well). Not even given a chance to prove that that it is not true. "You are in risk beacuse of Covid-19". So why giving a hope.. I do not recommended Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

Fast and Friendly

So helpful. Customer Service is first

Self builders of a timber framed house. We had difficulty with the initial valuation and Vernon went out of their way to get a second valuation done so that they could lend to us. Were flexible in matching their requirements with the realities of a self build. Excellent service. Reviewed on: 6th December 2019

No-one is ever too old

Needing to downsize for health reasons, but sadly still having the need of a small mortgage, we were treated so kindly by the Vernon who have a range of mortgages for pensioners. So relieved after a stressful time. Such a delight to deal with too. Reviewed on: 6th December 2019

Re-mortgage for a pensioner couple

Vernon provided remortgage finance when all larger lenders turned us down as they refused to consider the regular income I take from my ISA alongside my pension. Omly criticism was their over-zealous approach to other (rental) income Reviewed on: 26th November 2019
