A viable alternative

My husband and I have a joint savings account and Isa's with the Vernon. If required, we are able to access our cash 5 days a week due to the various branches being open at different times near to our home. This access to money becomes 'all important' if one's bank has a total shutdown and cards/atm's etc cease to work. Reviewed on: 13th January 2026
