Great interest rate - easy to open new account

I am a Virgin Money customer and found out online about the market leading rate of one of the Virgin Money Fixed Rate ISA products. I applied online through a link in the app and had a new account just a few minutes later, so quite happy with the experience and interest rate. Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

Best 2 Year ISA

Horribly clunky

Should be easy to set up and record all accounts in the same place but requires a separate app, log in when in should be a lot easier as an existing customer. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

One star is one star too many

One star is one too many. I started opening a business savings account on the 9th January (two months ago). Since then I've spent hours on the phone being passed from pillar to post, driven to a branch, and lodged an official complaint. They have had my funds for a month, and still have not opened the account. Terrible communication and massive inefficiency. The worst banking experience I have had by miles in 40 years of running a business. My advice would be to avoid this bank. There are many others offering similar rates or higher and providing stress free efficient friendly service. Absolutely terrible. Reviewed on: 6th March 2023

Never answer the phone

I've been trying for 3 days to get through to this company. It is completely exasperating. You wait and you wait and you wait. Eventually the music cuts out in the end and the recording voice just repeats itself over and over. I tried several time to contact "customer services" in their HQ. But despite my protestations they transfer you to the same answer service. I'm thinking of calling the police and saying they have stolen my money as I have no access to it. Great rate so easy to open

In a time when savings rates are so low it was great to see a fixed 12 months savings account paying a reasonable rate. Set up as 12 instalments. Opening account was so easy and then setting up the regular payment just as easy, all form home in about 5 minutes Brilliant Reviewed on: 18th February 2021
