great product works well for me

Customer and User Friendly

I have had my Virgin Credit card for a number of years now. I've made different large purchases on this card and the occasional balance transfer onto my Virgin Account all because I find the service easy to use and this is refreshing for this sector. Virgin keep me up to date with statements and offers but they dont bombard me with 'Spam' mail. I've generally had negative experiences with online banking, particularly with log in functions, however I've never had any problems with the Virgin Account. Whilst you wouldn't judge a book by it cover, Virgins Marketing and brand are also pretty fresh and contemporary. The Sex Pistols design credit card must be the coolest out there. That aside though I wouldn't have stuck with Virgin it they didn't have the product to back it up. You don't get left out of the loop with promotional rates as an existing customer. The reasons above are why I've been with Virgin this long and long may it continue! Reviewed on: 17th January 2017

Great rates and transfer periods

Virgin money offer great balance transfer rates over good periods of time. Very easy to transfer balances. Telephone staff very polite and helpful. Reviewed on: 17th January 2017

Online banking is not up-to-date with 2017...

The online banking is not easy to navigate. It's very basic and there's a lot of work involved trying to find out basic information. Every time I log in I forget how I last found some information as it's so long-winded, so I have to click on every link to find it. Virgin Money should take note from other online banking sites, like Barclaycard or Natwest. Much more straightforward and user-friendly. Also, I have not been offered any credit card promotions for a long time. It seems once the initial offers have been used then there are no more. There is no incentive to stay with Virgin Money. Vigin Money, the future of banking

My experience of Virgin Money has been absolutely fantastic. I used a promotional offer to transfer a balance from another credit card. The transaction was seamless and it went through without any delays or problems. Since having my credit card account with Virgin Money I've used their online banking facility to manage all aspects of my account, again without any problems or issues to date, Its very easy to bank on line with Virgin, as a result I have no hesitation recommending them Reviewed on: 13th January 2017

Give me an app!!!

I do like the card art - I chose the sex pistols cover for my card which EVERYONE comments on, but the lack of an app to see my balance is really frustrating me. having to a) find the login page for credit cards, and then b) enter 3 pieces of info to get to a transaction view which frankly isn't great is really killing the experience for me. Also, i can't get another card for a second account holder, and apple pay is STILL not supported. 'could do better' Virgin Money Reviewed on: 21st November 2016

Credit card. Accepted and balances transferred but no card recieved and no one will tell me why other than my account is under review

Absolutely appalling, worse provider I have ever used. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Opened a credit card and as part of the application transferred two balances. All went through fine, balances transferred, but no card received. Called to inquire over this and was told I had failed security which seemed absolutely bizarre and was told the representative couldn't help and I would have to call again. Called again and passed security giving the same answers but was told my account had been referred to a specialist department. No one will tell me why, whether this is due to fraudulent activity nor what the timescales for resolution are nor can they commit to anyone calling me back. What an absolutely dire experience for a new customer. Been holding on the phone for an hour to be told the same thing. Reviewed on: 18th November 2016
