OK

I use Virgin for their credit cards and it's just ok. While it is easy to use, I'm disappointed that I haven't had many perks for being a customer so far Reviewed on: 15th December 2016

Give me an app!!!

3
I do like the card art - I chose the sex pistols cover for my card which EVERYONE comments on, but the lack of an app to see my balance is really frustrating me. having to a) find the login page for credit cards, and then b) enter 3 pieces of info to get to a transaction view which frankly isn't great is really killing the experience for me. Also, i can't get another card for a second account holder, and apple pay is STILL not supported. 'could do better' Virgin Money Reviewed on: 21st November 2016

Credit card. Accepted and balances transferred but no card recieved and no one will tell me why other than my account is under review

1
Absolutely appalling, worse provider I have ever used. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Opened a credit card and as part of the application transferred two balances. All went through fine, balances transferred, but no card received. Called to inquire over this and was told I had failed security which seemed absolutely bizarre and was told the representative couldn't help and I would have to call again. Called again and passed security giving the same answers but was told my account had been referred to a specialist department. No one will tell me why, whether this is due to fraudulent activity nor what the timescales for resolution are nor can they commit to anyone calling me back. What an absolutely dire experience for a new customer. Been holding on the phone for an hour to be told the same thing. Reviewed on: 18th November 2016

Impossibly difficult to set up online, snotty call centre staff, better service out there

1
I have several 0% cards and this is the only one which I have still (5 months0 not been able to get onlien to service. Jumping through hoops does not even begin to cover it. So I am forced to call their call centre staff, spoke to some snotty kid who was downright dismissive. Would not tell me what date my DD comes out "it varies", yeah but roughly when in the month? "it varies", how many months left on my 0% deal "i don't know - it ends in december 2018" - happy to let me work that out while on the phone to him), nor how much i would need to pay per month to pay off card by time 0% deal ends - "I am not a financial advisor" Yeah - but you have a calculator tho pal don't you. Never have these problems or snootiness with Lloyds, Tesco, Santander or Barclaycard. Needless to say I am paying this one off first and will not be coming back to Virgin cards. I donlt knwo who their call centre staff think they are but i really don't need or expect to be talked down to by someone dealing with my finances which ultimately pay their wages! Easy application and set up

4
After using a price comparison site I chose a Virgin Money credit card. The application was all done online and my balance transfer was done at the same time, which maximised the change in deal. Only issue is there isn't an app, only an online site, however the pin can was accessed online and not sent in the post. Reviewed on: 21st September 2016
