The Bank with Real People

It’s so nice to have a community bank that have real people at the heart of it. Applications are dealt with by people and not machines with algorithms. They listen and help. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service Reviewed on: 2nd June 2023

Fantastic service

After trying to take out a loan for a new vehicle, I had issues with banks due to identity fraud, Wave community bank were able to help me, and at a very reasonable rate as well. I was able to see the amount owed each day, and managed to repay the loan long before it was due to finish. Would I head to them again for something else, Yes I would, without a question of doubt. Personal approach to customers. Friendly and responsive staff.

Loan application was processed fast. Instead of being dependant just on credit reports, loan advisor contacted personally to clarify some details. Process from beginning to end took place online. Overall positive experience. Been in touch with staff regarding my payments not showing on App, again issue was dealt with quickly and instead of "We sorted this for you", I actually got full answer on why that happened, how it affects my account, what was done and how it will look going forward. And also, as mentioned, App is handy to track accounts from the phone with transparency. Would definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 9th May 2023

Personal service and quick decisions

Wave is a local community service and not a faceless bank. What I have always needed is a person on the other end of an email or phone that could give financial guidance, that I could trust and trusted me. Local community banking

In the current financial crisis saving is all the more important. For me I like the idea of my money being managed locally & it helping to support those in the local community through affordable and ethical loans. Reviewed on: 9th July 2022

Best savings pot ever!

I save monthly for my annual bus ticket into my savings account. At the end of the year I can then afford to pay for my bus ticket and also get 20% off the cost. So easy to do and the staff are always so helpful. Reviewed on: 30th June 2022

Fantastic Loans

They are quick and efficient I also like the fact that you pay a little extra and they set up a savings pot for you.i'm rubbish at saving so for me it's great that it comes straight out of My wages so I don't need to worry about missing any repayments. Reviewed on: 25th June 2022
