Using cash does not help you build credit.

Using cash does not help you build credit. Using a debit card doesn't, either. A credit card does. Keep your balances low and pay your bill on time, and you're doing one of the easiest things you can do to establish a good credit history. Reviewed on: 15th January 2026

I love Zopa - it has a wealth of positives.

I love Zopa, I have several bank accounts which I can easily link, I make use of their high interest easy access and fixed savings accounts, I love the card and colour, the app is easy to use with the zap feature, moving money between accounts is easy.
