Thanks Zopa, I got my control back

I'd had a loan for several yrs and brought it down to about £1000, and thought about consolidating, but for no apparent reason having been a customer for years, I applied to increase that loan and the bank refused. I was overdrawn, but Zopa had absolutely no problem, and I'm now in control of my finances, in the black, ahead on all my bills etc. and very pleased with myself and Zopa. So pleased, nice as a £1000 would be, I'd give half to my local animal shelter for winter feed and warmth for strays. Reviewed on: 16th January 2026
