Long time customer

Have been a customer for quite some time now both standard savings accounts and fixed rate bonds.. As existing customers we always get emails informing us of any new saving options. Also kept informed of any change to interest rates. During Covid with restrictions we were able to carry out our required banking needs with the usual excellent serice which still applies today Reviewed on: 5th March 2025

Building society that seems to care

Chorley building society still follows the original ethos of the building society overhigh street banks . Still manages to feel small and inclusive rather than distant and corporate. It often offers better rates than the big 4 high street banks. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Transferred our savings to Chorley B.S. when we moved to the area.

We wanted to support a local building society and Chorley offered excellent rates for both an ISA and a bond. We also recommended the society to our daughter and she has invested her savings with the Society. We wanted a Society with a local branch where we could always have a face to face. Chorley Building Society - Review

I find the staff at my local Chorley Building Society very helpful. There is a nice atmosphere when entering the bank and there are no long queues waiting to be served. My local branch offer, what I feel, is a very personal service. Most banks nowadays have very few cashiers to hand; the staff tend to be walking round helping customers, so there is no privacy. Chorley Building Society caters for all needs; the interest rates are very competitive and I like the idea that I have a pass book instead of a plastic debit card. World Class Service!

The Chorley Building Society are excellent in all respects. The staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The society, unlike many others are quick to adjust interest rates for savers in line with the Bank of England base rate. A first class society in all respects. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Excellent Service Provider

When my bank let me down on savings investments, I turned to the Chorley Building Society for help. They provided me with a range of savings accounts to choose from.
