SCAMMERS!!!

DO NOT USE ADMIRAL!!! They added a claim in my name on the insurance database and not to my policy. So I got no notification of this for over a year. I'm now being charged an extra £450 a year on my insurance and they will not help me at all. If you phone them you will be waiting at least 2 hours on hold only for them to not help you at all. Take this as a warning to say well away from the scammers! Reviewed on: 15th December 2022

DO NOT USE INSURANCE COMPANY Admiral treat you like a criminal The garage choosen for the repair have admitted that they understaffed and my vehicle been in a compound awaiting for garage to fix it for over a week Insurance company have refused to provide courtesy vehicle till its in the repair garage. Today the repair garage have collected the car and said insurance company has rang them and said I'm not entitled to courtesy vehicle even though last week the insurance confirmed I was. It's in the policy that you get courtesy vehicle. We making complaint through Financial Ombudsman Service I know it be a wait but the insurance company will be held responsible for failure for basic service Reviewed on: 15th December 2022

Never buy admiral car insurance.

When i brought my car insurance i agreed to having a black box. However the day they wanted to install it i couldn’t as i was on holiday. They refused to give another date and ended up charging me £340 a month. In june i had a car to car bump with NO damage. It’s now december and they have emailed me claiming there’s damage even though they have proof there isn’t any. They now want to charge a 19 year old £400 a month. Reviewed on: 14th December 2022

Awful company; unfair and punitive cancellation fee.

Tell me I owe them £350 cancellation fee after cancelling renewal. They didn't warn me of this and their website gives a very much lower figure for cancellation fee. Dishonest scammers. Reviewed on: 8th December 2022

The absolute worst car insurance company ever

Admiral insurance are awful. My wife had a small knock for knock accident and had lots of calls telling her to claim for injuries etc, that she didn't have then trying to get her a hire car and didn't pay out for any of the damage as she couldn't get in contact with them. No contact what so ever so we paid it all our selves. Over £1000. They are scammers so DONT use them Reviewed on: 4th December 2022

Worst insurance, stay away

One of their customers caused and accident that got my car wrote off, I have been trying to get in contact with them to sort everything out and make things cheaper for them but it’s useless. The claims team is so rude they hung the phone up on me while I was talking to them, they are very rude and they don’t help at all. Stay away. Reviewed on: 30th November 2022

ISSUED A DEFAULT NOTICE AFTER THEY REFUNDED ME FOR CANCELLING A POLICY WITH NO COMMUNICATION

Cancelled a policy with them and they processed a refund. Thought that was the end of it how wrong i was, received a default on my credit file dated th 24th November 2022 from admiral, so i rang them and they stated i owed the £237.40 so i questioned the refund there words it was our mistake. So a letter arrives 29th November asking for payment this letter is the first communication with them dated the 24th November, the very day they put a default on my credit file DUE TO THERE MISTAKE BE VERY VERY CAREFUL Reviewed on: 29th November 2022

Unethical company and I felt so bullied by them

When I took up the car insurance last year, there was no option to opt out from the auto renewal. This year I wanted to move to another insurer as I got offered a significantly lower quote. I was sent the auto renewal notice but there was no way to stop the auto renewal unless I call them which I did. It took so long just for the call to go through. Then before I was allowed to cancel, they asked me so many many questions and personal details that I found unnecessary. Such a was of time and invasion of personal information. They said they cannot cancel my auto renewal unless they get these informations from me. I felt so bullied and the entire experience was just horrible. Such a waste of my time too.
