Worst company ever!

This is the worst company. 5 weeks ago someone crashed into my car. I have made over 60 calls, spent over 12hrs on hold, they told me I need to fix the car and pay for it and do the MOT and they will pay out. So I have. Every day for two weeks they keep telling me 'the money will be in your account by 5pm today.' TWO WEEKS AND 2HRS ON HOLD EVERYDAY. No money. I've spoken to Managers and they say the same thing. I actually think they are scammers and there is something illegal going on. They lie everyday, and I have zero confidence they will give me my money. Liars, cheats and scammers. Not one e-mail has ever been responded to in 5 weeks. I'm going to contact the Ombudsman, and if that doesn't work then eventually the police. They are stealing off people. I WANT MY MONEY! Blooming disgraceful

My son had his car stolen on 4th Jan 23. Terrible time getting through to right person, and when we did the response was awful. We asked for another quote to get my son mobile on another car that we owned. They quoted 600 quid more than his previous policy held with them, and wanted to rob him of 2 years NCB. Treated like it was HIS fault he got robbed. Useless. Reviewed on: 11th January 2023

If I could give a negative 10 I would. DISGUSTING. Appalling service. False advertising. Unethical with no care for customers. This company sells contracts that cannot fulfill they are disrespectful, careless, and hard to reach. They cost me more further to the damage I received. DO NOT USE. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. If you have been belittled and abused by this fraudulent company please get in touch with the Financial Ombudsman authority. It's terrible to see companies like this in business. I AM APPALLED BY THE SERVICE, OR BETTER, LACK OF, PROVIDED BY ADMIRAL. And when action was made, although I was still not contacted and no one spoke with me, the excess calculations were WRONG. I have been a customer since 2016, paying a home and car insurance of nearly £2k. The company is a sale company that does NOT deliver the service and care to customers promised through their mission statement, misleading and fraudulent multi-media advertising, and, most importantly, detailed in the contract. The complete lack of communication has proved that Admiral, at the very least, has insufficient staff to deal with claims and has a definite utter disrespect for the current customers. Admiral's poor and inexistent care for my case has caused further damage to my health and mental well-being and caused me stress and anxiety, putting strain on my mental health and making me unwell. Further, it caused a lack of opportunity by depriving my work of a total of 19 hours so far spent on the phone with still no resolution. Instead of helping after an accident, Admiral only caused further distress and grief added to the one I have already suffered following the criminal act that led to the claim (arson on my property). The treatment and ethics I have experienced with the company caused me damage. We cannot go unnoticed as I hope no other customer has to suffer from such a damaging service. In August the Chief Excutive said we are committed to delivering great service and to supporting all of our customers.With Xmas upon us it’s time for this lie to be firmly extinguished.This company which took 204 days with their nominated garage in Cardiff, I.R.G on Whittle Road, to repair simple storm damage, amazingly employs 7,500 in South Wales.Why then can’t one of them pick the phone up in an office block they wrongly label a call centre.Perhaps they are all working from home?How can this company give all their workers, including the claims department £1800 of free shares and their share holders huge dividends when they treat their customers so appallingly.A Welsh Company that makes me ashamed to be Welsh! Unreasonable Insurance Company

I received a call off Admiral in May accepting their client was at fault for damage to my vehicle. I decided that I wanted my insurance to deal with the repair but to claim off Admiral. My vehicle finally got repaired in August. My insurance company billed them and Admiral haven’t settled the bill. As a consequence this claim is unresolved and I have had my renewal price increased by £150. Admiral haven’t responded and my insurance company are now issuing court proceedings if they fail to settle the bill by the end of December. I thought Admiral were a respectable company with a good Defacto reading. I was totally wrong. As a named driver on my husbands policy that renewal price will also be effected until Admiral settle their debts. Do not go with Admiral Insurance. Reviewed on: 19th December 2022

Worse insurance company

Son has waited 6 months for settlement of claim. Have had to involve the Ombudsman as they don't even respond to requests for updates. Lots of similar complaints on Twitter and people are notifying the Ombudsman out of despair. Please don't use them. Reviewed on: 19th December 2022

Awful Customer Service

As I write I have been on hold for just over 96 mins and the likelihood this that when I do get through I will be informed that my claim is with a manager for approval. No they can't give any indication of when that might happen and that only moves the incident to the settlement team. Having been the victim of a crime and left without a vehicle, which is needed for both work and family transportation, you would think that they would show some empathy and have some level of customer service, rather than being two weeks after the event with no updates provided. Admiral? Pirates more like! Criminals, pure and simple.

Admiral are literally criminals - they are accessories to fraud. They have refused my travel insurance claim based on fraudulent medical documentation from a foreign hospital that was riddled with errors and inconsistencies. I have provided a medical second opinion that supports my version of events but they won't accept it. Why? Because it means they'd have to pay what they owe me, about £1600. Absolute shysters devoid of scruples, empathy and competence. In 20 years of travelling all over the world I've never encountered such a cowboy operation. Avoid at all costs - or it will cost you.
