Truly customer focused

I’ve been with one other car insurer but always find myself coming back to admiral. I’ve been with the sister companies aswell and all I can say is that they appear to be customer focused. I haven’t yet had to make a claim but I’m sure that the claim experience would match up to the current service I am receiving. What shocked me was when they made a pledge to reimburse everyone £25 - this shows that they are not choosing to profit on the amount of money saved due to COVID. They want to reward their customers for sticking to the guidelines (which clearly showed was being adhered to via the companies outgoings on claims) Reviewed on: 2nd August 2020

I have been a customer of Admiral for a few years. At each renewal they present me with an inflated renewal premium which I have to negotiate down. Not sure why they do that to existing customers. Reviewed on: 13th August 2022

Pretty good value for money

Been with admiral for several years now. Every renewal they do try to put prices up despite improved no claims bonus, but are willing to reduce and beat other quotes when talking on the phone. Customer services very helpful - at least when discussing renewals anyway. Reviewed on: 13th August 2022

Cheap insurance but poor service

You only find out how good an insurance company is when you try and make a claim and that’s where Admiral lack of customer service lets them down. We had a really simply small knock by the other party hitting us in the rear. Admiral hand this over to a claims management company who want you to sign up to be liable for ALL THE COSTS before they will even reach out to the 3rd party insurer. Admiral wont get involved themselves and wont even help you with advice on options. We ended up having to go to the 3rd party ourselves and they paid for the repair at the BMW dealer rather than the backstreet garage the claims management company wanted to use. Needless to say we wont be staying with Admiral come renewal time. Reviewed on: 13th August 2022

Brilliant service for 5 years

Had home insurance with them for 5 years and car insurance for 2. My other half has the home insurance policy but will likely be moving to multi cover on renewal. Very understanding, reasonable pricing and top notch, flexible customer service teams. Cheers Admiral! Reviewed on: 13th August 2022
