Existing issues in a house needn't cost the earth for insurance

My house had subsidence over 30 years ago which was fixed with no problems since. Some insurers wont insure me, specialist insurers quoted an eye watering amount. I was dreading how much I was going to have to pay. Admiral recognised it was an old fixed problem and whilst I understandably have a large excess for subsidence if it happens again - what I have is competitively priced building and contents insurance. Every direct dealing I have had has been great. Plus their regular hints and tips emails always seem to come at the right time. It's as if they know the wasps have started flying round my house and are looking to nest! Reviewed on: 12th August 2022

Excellent communication

Excellent service and great vfm.
