Taking Out Policies For Older People With AllClear

My wife and I have just, separately, taken out travel insurance policies with AllClear. The agent, Farrah, was very helpul and friendly (and was based in Cardiff and spoke very clear English!). With our ages our medical conditions made the discussion quite complex but she was patient throughout. The cost seemed to be the best price we could find in the market for older people. We were having issues securing insurance as most company are a clear yes or no to answers not allowing for explanations of unusual but not serious conditions. AllClear does this but also in a totally understanding non judgemental way. Reviewed on: 1st October 2025

True to their advertising claums

My husband has a hereditary condition, not life threatening or life limiting with treatment, but getting travel insurance was difficult. With AllClear it was one of their recognised medical conditions so it was straightforward...they did just as they advertise. Reviewed on: 1st October 2025

Easy to apply for and a best buy.

Having received quotes from elsewhere, AllClear was the easiest to apply for. It also proved to be the best buy for covering a number of pre-existing conditions. I got an annual policy, and good cover for less than the cost of a single trip policy from competitors. Reviewed on: 30th September 2025

Great travel insurance

You only really know if your travel insurance is good if you need to make a claim. Unfortunately I recently had to cancel my holiday to Italy because I broke my ankle. I was hugely disappointed and realised I would have to make a claim on my insurance to recover my costs. The online claim process was really easy and after uploading all the documents requested I received a settlement 7 days after submitting my claim which I think it pretty impressive.
