Accident occurred before holiday abroad

I recently had to contact them twice because I was due to go on holiday but unfortunately broke my ankle 5 weeks before going. The gentleman I spoke to was really helpful & put me at ease & explained what I had to do. I didn’t know at this time whether I would have to have an operation or not. I contacted them again to update my policy about my broken ankle & advise we’d delayed holiday. Reviewed on: 29th September 2025

Heartless company

I was unable to travel to my daughter's destination wedding as l became extremely ill 9 days before and was in intensive care for 8 days and l was very lucky to have survived. I was insured by All Clear and all medical issues declared. The policy was almost £500 but l felt it was important to have everything covered. When l tried to claim l was informed that cancellation was not included!!! I was not aware of this and assumed (of course) that it definitely would be! I had to collate a lot of information from hospital and GP, which I did, but it did not matter as cancellation was not covered! Take note of my error in not reading small print and assuming when declaring everything and paying what we did, we had cancellation cover. I will never use this company again ...lost £2657 plus policy cost of £480 and £65 to my GP for forms completed! Missed my youngest child's wedding but this company was heartless. My Partner and I have been using AllClear travel insurance for a number of years now. Although it is quite expensive, we would more than likely never use anybody else. You cannot beat the reviews and you cannot cut costs at the expense of of reliable travel insurance. We always find the agents to be friendly and helpful. Reviewed on: 29th September 2025
