Always helpful

Love Amex. Firstly, it's amazing having insurance on everything you buy (Platinum) as well as collecting airmiles. The travel insurance is fantastic and has come in handy when we've had bags delayed. Also the concierge service is such a useful service. Reviewed on: 26th April 2016

Has limitations

Have had this card for many years and it pays a small amount of cashback on purchases. There have been no problems operating this but I have found that some retailers refuse to accept it. One told me it was because of the high processing fee Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

great cashback and great service

really fantastic company to have on your side. the cashback rates are the best on the market, they have regular offers such as shopsmall (with £5 cashback on a £10 spend!) and are accepted at a lot more places than i'd have imagined. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Excellent service, good way of collecting Avios

I got the American Express british airways card mainly for the sign up bonus with avios, but I will keep the card, it is accepted all over the world, in fact in other countries even better than in the uk. The avios they gave me paid for a flight to the states so no complaints. I had a problem early on with a disputed charge, but they cleared it up in 24 hours by email. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Great card and benefits

I have the Amex platinum card with no annual fee. It's contact less and can be added to apple pay also. You can earn 5% cash back on upto £2000 spend in first three months and there are regular offers on the app which you can add to your card ie £10 off £30 spend at xx retailer. Always amazing service

American Express is always providing consistently good customer service and they are there to help you with your queries especially if you are travelling abroad and have to use your card in other countries - they are very quick to resolve problems and their fraud system is flawless. Love Amex!

Amex is always super helpful and eases any worries I have when travelling or purchasing things I'm unsure about. Our bags were delayed once on Christmas Eve and Amex covered us for the evening, allowing us to purchase outfits for dinner. Brilliant service. Reviewed on: 26th February 2016

I needed to change an address and request a replacement card. The phone was picked-up well within 30 sec of me ringing-up, and both requests were done quickly a very friendly American Express agent. Reviewed on: 12th January 2016
