If you frequently order Deliveroo (at least twice monthly), travel a few times yearly and could therefore use lounge access - the Gold card is almost a no brainer. There's also trip insurance included if you put your tickets for a flight or train on this card. Unfortunately, the Gold card isn't great for spending abroad, but it might still be worth putting travel tickets on it considering the insurance + the outbount spend bonus for spending in foreign currencies. Absolutely worth the fee

I’ve had several cards from different providers, hands down the American Express Gold has been the best. Customer support is fantastic and when using AmEx Travel to book holidays is intuitive and easy. Reviewed on: 20th March 2022
