Bad but thankfully short lived experience Short lived experience - payments kept being refused from the Atom account, despite it being completely funded. Moved to First Direct and glad I did. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

I have been banking with Atom for several years.

I was recommended by a good friend to Atom who assured me as I had not used app banking before. I have set up a couple more savings accounts on it since first matured and introduced someone else to it. I am not most tech savvy person but find the app easy to use and products easy to compare with savings percentages being open to all and not limited to high sum investments. I don’t always have a lot to save but it helps I can choose even 6 months and get a return, or 9 to 12 months depending on why I am saving. At maturity the money is returned with interest to my nominated account hassle free. Reviewed on: 21st April 2025
