Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Nothing's Too Much Trouble

I have been with Barclays since I was a teenager and I have never had a problem with them, which is why I have stuck with them for so long. Even when I have anticipated problems they have never materialised. When my mum died and I told them, they sorted out everything for me, cancelling bills and generally taking the stress out of my hands. I really can't fault them. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Would recommend to anyone

I'd highly recommend the Barclays Mobile Banking App to anyone as it is almost limitless as to what you can do in one place, where most banks would require you to do these tasks in a branch. You can manage all of your regular payments, make transfers, view and download statements and change your personal details within minutes. You can also access other products like gadget insurances, open selected savings accounts etc. Unbelievably easy to use, clear format and very smart looking. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Very helpful customer Service especially by mobile banking

Hugely improved app, very responsive customer service.

The smartphone app is now very slick and makes it much easier to make payments and keep an eye on my spending. I recently had some fraud on my debit card and it was dealt with really quickly - what could have been horrific became much less stressful thanks to a speedy resolution. Local branch has closed

After banking with Barclays for 40 years and resisting online and telephone banking - I have to now travel 6 miles to my nearest branch - not happy !! Reviewed on: 23rd January 2019
