I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

I have been a Barclays customer all my life and the Premier Banking Telephone Service is amazing no overseas call centres all UK and they have wonderful professional people employed who always make you feel the centre of their universe and above all impeccable manners, fantastic well done Barclays we love you. Counterless branch

We have banked with Barclays for 40 years and now very disappointed that the Rugby branch is self service. You have to pay cheques in yourself using a laptop. A couple of years ago, the atm machine inside Barclays didn't pay out but gave me a receipt as if I had the money.
