Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Best Banking App out there

Their app is fantastic. cant remember an occasion when i couldnt acheive what i wanted to, within the app. I have limited options on the apps for other banks - but no such constraints with Barclays. Thank you Barclays! Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

Barclays are great!

Love this company - been with them for years and will never bank with anyone else. Staff are helpful and the tech is always cutting edge. I always recommend Barclays to my friends and family when they ask about financial services. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

Could do better

I like the fact that I can log in to the app on my phone when I want to sort our my finances and since downloading Pingit when the account isn't working I can login through Pingit to check the account balance. Quite a few times the app doesn't work - this is the grumble I have with Barclays and they charge high interest rates for their overdraft facilities and customer services are not always that great. I also like the fact I can increase my overdraft facility just by tapping a few buttons on the app. I've had a Barclays account for many years and in the main I'm satisfied with them -my experience would be improved if they could sort these things out.
