Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

New account

Opening new account was fast and easy, and i received my card in the mail in 2 days! Also, great banking app with a lot of options to manage your account through your smartphone. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Simply the best customer service!

Brilliant customer service, really feel valued by them, love all the extras they offer, life skills, digital eagle etc, compared to the other 2 high street banks I'm with they also have the best mobile banking app by far!! Only gripe I have is I wish they would let us use Google Pay instead of their solution, GPay simply works so much better! Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Helpful

I have always banked with Barclays, even after being told ‘lt’s good to change’. I speak for myself when I say that I have always been listened to and have been helped as much as possible. I must have been with Barclays for fifty years and seen many changes, but when I visit my Gorseinon branch, being greeted with a smile doesn’t change and can only help. Brilliant in-branch service!

I switched from Halifax when I moved in with my partner so Inpopped in branch and the gentleman was polite, efficient and very knowledgeable! everything the Halifax weren’t! everything was quick and easy and the mobile app works great!! banking made simple!! Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

A true life partner

I have been with Barclays nearly my entire life, over 30 years of banking. I have held other bank accounts but not for long. Barclays are truly the perfect life partner, always there to help, always there when you need them, reliable and with great customer service. Their banking app is simply 100% perfect. It always works, does virtually everything you could possible want to do, feels secure and is fast and reliable. The user interface is so clear and easy to follow that I have never had to wonder what to do next. Quite simply, it just works exactly as you would expect.
