Old-fashioned

I've been a customer for over 10 years but now looking to switch banking provider. It's quite difficult to book and appointment to see the adviser if needed and customer service is not up to scratch. In addition, other banks provide better benefits for their clients Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

Could be more customer focussed...

The account does what it needs to do, but it doesn't feel tailored to customer needs. I would also appreciate going into a branch and not being pointed towards the machines to complete transactions. I know this is not the fault of the staff, as it seems the company need to invest in more ground level employees and management, rather than higher level bonuses. Patchy service, unnecessary hassle with machines!

Product OK, does what it needs to as a bank account. The staff are generally friendly, but I don't appreciate it when they want to pass you off to a machine to do as much as possible, rather than deal with a person directly (basically encouraging their own disappearance from the high street). I know this isn't through their own choice, as staff seem in short supply. Maybe invest in the ground floor staff, rather than Director/Higher Management bonuses? Reviewed on: 15th May 2017

excellent everyday banking with super easy mobile app

Every experience I have with barclays is very straightforward. They always resolve any problems I have with my account. The mobile app is the best on the market as I can do most of my banking with it and it is really fast and secure. Would never change
