Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Reliable

I have had a bank account with Barclays for the past 20 years and have always found them to be a good bank, great opportunity for savings and loans and credit cards at competitive rates. Great banking

after having previously been treated appallingly by RBS barclays is so refreshing. They have fantastic customer service skills and helped me get out of debt. Reviewed on: 8th December 2019

Not the best

On the positive side I find the banking app easy to use. However, I have had issues with their charges and their packages not being clear. I also think they are not very ethical so I am thinking of banking elsewhere. Reviewed on: 5th December 2019

Total control of your money and insight into your spending habits.

Best in the market banking app. Can virtually do anything that you would do in a branch. To top it all 24/7 video banking where you speak to a qualified professional and very well trained banker (not a customer service agent based on some other planet), who address all your banking queries, resolve issues and affect transactions.
