BBS were great for our guest house mortgage

Bath Building Society was very flexible and set up a mortgage for our guest house. All the other lenders we approached (Lloyds, Natwest, Halifax etc.) were unable to help because we didn't fall into a standard tickbox category. The rate was always competitive, we had a series of discounted rate deals. Been with them for about 20 years. I highly recommend BBS. Reviewed on: 24th April 2025

Excellent service from start to finish from all members of staff that we dealt with.

We have recently taken out a 'buy for university' mortgage with Bath BS. From start to finish, all of your staff have been absolutely excellent but a particular shout out to Ian Birch, Rebekka and Jalani (the latter, both in the mortgage admin team). Our application was not that straightforward and under short timescales but the support of your staff could not have been better. I'm also aware that there were many staff that I did not engage directly with that supported our application. Reviewed on: 29th September 2023

Fantastic service through unique circumstances

We took out a stage release mortgage with Bath to finance our housebuild. Communication was quick and clear throughout, particularly at the end of the build stage as the mortgage switched to a different product and everyone we dealt with at Bath was supportive and professional in helping us to source the best deal.
