Competitive rates and excellent service

Particularly forward looking for children's accounts. When other banks are offering short term, one off products Bath have an excellent children's account and, unlike most other banks, who don't seem to want to know, a very good offering for 16-17 years olds. As a parent, I want to keep saving for my children for as long as possible and Bath gives me the ability to do that. Reviewed on: 19th February 2023

Exceptional Customer Service

The customer service of the Society is exceptional. A "HUMAN BEING", not a "VIRTUAL ASSISTANT" is readily available and the question posed is, in my experience, answered with knowledge and expertise. The value and confidence of conversing with a human being should never underestimated. Reviewed on: 18th February 2023

Friendly, fair and local

Best Customer Experience

It is so refreshing to be able to enjoy the personal service you get as a saver at Bath Building Society, something which seemingly doesn't exist elsewhere anymore. The staff are always friendly and polite as one might expect but they always make the extra effort to make you feel valued as a customer. Furthermore, the society is up there with the market leaders in the interest rate stakes and, at the time of writing, offer an excellent instant access rate exceeding 3%. Bath Building Society seems to be the last vestige of an age where personal service mattered to both the customer and organisation and those of us who are used to 'old fashioned' ways who are so often forced into adopting technology in order to get what we need, can still get the service we enjoyed in days gone by with a competitive product to match.
